Wedding Conditions
Function Room
For a maximum of
5 hours you will have exclusive use of your
designated function room. The
bar will cease
service of drinks half an hour prior to the close of the evening. You are
responsible for vacating the designated
function area at the stated finishing time. Should you wish to continue past
the agreed time you must notify us 48
hours prior to the wedding and we will make every effort to assist, subject
to availability. A surcharge will apply.
Please note that all function rooms are non-smoking.
Room Hire Charge
A Room Hire charge of $450 is applicable,
unless a Diamond Package is booked. If numbers
fall below 50 guests
in the Diamond Package a $450 room hire fee will be applicable.
The Room Hire charge includes the following:
- Reception Venue
- Professional wait and bar staff
- Dance Floor
- Bridal Table fully skirted
- Cake Table fully skirted
- White Linen Tablecloths
- White linen Napkins
- Bowl and candle centrepiece
- Sterling Silver Cake Knife
- Bridal change / preparation room (if available)
Confirmation and Bookings
Confirmation of your wedding date, together
with a deposit / booking fee of $660.00
together with written
confirmation is required within fourteen days.
$330.00 of the booking fee will be retained after
the function
as a
security deposit against loss or damage to Treetops
property for which the organiser of your wedding
is financially
responsible. The security deposit held, less
any charge for loss or damage if applicable,
will be
returned
within
fourteen working days.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation of your booking,
the following refund policy will apply to your
booking
fee.
- If the cancellation occurs less than 90 days prior to your wedding date,
no refund will be available.
- If the cancellation occurs in excess of 90 days prior to your wedding
date, 50% of the booking fee will be
refunded.
Food and Drink
No food or drink is to be brought on
to the premises without agreement of
the management
and similarly
no drink
purchased is to be taken from Treetops.
All responsible service of alcohol
policies and
procedures are
adhered to
by our staff.
If you have selected a three course
menu (including the Diamond Package)
and are
supplying your
own wedding
cake to be served as dessert, we will
serve your wedding cake with strawberries,
strawberry
or
raspberry coulis
and ice cream or cream in place of
a menu dessert. If you choose a cocktail
menu there will
be a charge of
$4.50
per person for cakeage as above.
If you require cakeage, please advise
us at your finals
wedding appointment.
Garden Weddings
If you choose to be married in our
gardens there is a charge of $450.00
which covers
use of Treetops
Resort’s
gardens, 20 white chairs, red carpet
and signing table. Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of
the organiser of your wedding,
whilst we will take every
care, we are
not
responsible for damage to or loss
of goods or merchandise left on
our premises
before,
during
or after your
wedding. Insurance cover is available
commercially, to cover function
costs etc.
Payment
We require menu selection, final
numbers, and table plan along with
payment in
full for catering
four
weeks prior
to
your wedding. A prepayment against
beverage consumption is also due
at this time of $20.00
per person
or
where a total package is chosen,
payment is required in full. The
balance of
the consumption account
is to be paid
for at the conclusion of your wedding.
We accept cash, cheque, money order,
eftpos
and credit
card payments.
Cheque and money orders must be
made out to Treetops Resort – please
allow five working days for clearance.
Confetti & bubbles
We request that the use of bubbles
is confined to the gardens only
and that confetti or
rice not be
used
on the
property.
Accommodation
Accommodation is also available
for your guests in 6 two bedroom
Villas
or 36 Garden
or Balcony
rooms.
The
Diamond Wedding Package includes
complimentary accommodation in
a Villa on the wedding
night for the bride
and groom. If a wedding falls
on a long weekend, Easter or
Christmas
school
holidays, a 2
night minimum will
apply for all guests at the Saturday
night rate.
Prices
All prices include gst and are
subject to change without notice.
A surcharge of 10% is applicable
for Sundays, public holidays
and long weekends.
Diamond Wedding Package Conditions
- The Diamond Package cost
is for 70 guests and
includes Room
Hire.
If numbers
fall between
50
and
69 there is an additional
cost. If numbers fall
below 50, a
$450 Room
Hire charge will
be incurred.
- Decorations. The package
includes the function room
fully decorated.
When making selections
with
our supplier, you will
be asked to sign a contract
and pay
a deposit of $100 which
is refundable
upon
pick up and sign off on
all items ordered.
- A buffet or cocktail
menu can be substituted
for the
3 course
meal
in the Diamond Package
at the
same cost.
- The beverage package
is for 5 hours and
commences with
pre-dinner drinks
half an
hour prior to
entering function room
and concludes half
an hour prior
to close of
reception.
- If you are supplying
your own wedding
cake to be served
as
dessert, we
will serve your
wedding cake
with strawberries,
strawberry or raspberry
coulis and
ice cream or cream
in place of a menu
dessert.
