Function Conditions
Function Room
For designated time you will have exclusive use of your function room. The bar will cease service of drinks half an hour prior to the close of the evening. You are responsible for vacating the designated function area at the stated finishing time. Should you wish to continue past the agreed time you must notify us 48 hours prior to the function and we will make every effort to assist, subject to availability. A surcharge will apply. Please note that all function rooms are non-smoking.
Room Hire
Room hire for 5 hours for the Kookaburra or Kingfisher function room is $450.00.
This includes:
- Hire of your chosen function room for 5 hours
- Professional wait staff
- Dance Floor
- White Linen Tablecloths
- Napkins
- Candle & bowl centerpiece
Confirmation and Bookings
Confirmation of your function, together with a 10% or $660 (whichever is greater) deposit / booking fee is required within fourteen days. $330.00 of the booking fee will be retained after the function as a security deposit against loss or damage to Treetops property for which the organiser of your function is financially responsible. The security deposit held, less any charge for loss or damage if applicable, will be returned within fourteen working days.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation of your booking, the following refund policy will apply to your booking fee.
* If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to your function, no refund will be available.
* If the cancellation occurs in excess of 30 days prior to your function, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded.
Food and Drink
No food or drink is to be brought on to the premises without agreement of the management and similarly no drink purchased is to be taken from Treetops. All responsible service of alcohol policies and procedures are adhered to by our staff.
If you are supplying your own cake there will be a charge of from $1.00 per person for cakeage which includes a plate, fork and napkin. This does not include cream/ice cream/coulis. If you require cakeage or would like a costing on any additional items, please advise us prior to your event.
Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the organiser of your function. Whilst we will take every care, we are not responsible for damage to or loss of goods or merchandise left on our premises before, during or after your function. Insurance cover is available commercially, to cover function costs etc.
Payment
We require menu selection, final numbers, and table plan (if applicable) along with payment in full for catering two weeks prior to your function. A prepayment against beverage consumption is also due at this time of $20.00 per person or where a total package is chosen, payment is required in full. The balance of the consumption account is to be paid for at the conclusion of your function. We accept cash, cheque, money order, eftpos and credit card (Visa and Mastercard) payments. Cheques and money orders must be made out to Treetops Resort – please allow five working days for clearance.
Confetti, Poppers, Streamers & Bubbles
If you wish to use any of the above, please advise us when making your booking. We request that the use of bubbles is confined to the gardens only. The use of confetti, streamers or poppers are to be used within the function room only and will incur an additional $110 cleaning charge.
Accommodation
If accommodation is required for your guests payment in is full is required for a one night booking and multiple night the first nights tariff is required as deposit. Required for each room. For groups, a room listing is required 7 days prior to the function.
